How you can Repair A Ceiling Fan Light

4kw timer switch alt=”Wireless Gold 2 Gang 1 Way Wall Touch Activated Light Switch 86″ title=”Wireless Gold 2 Gang 1 Way Wall Touch Activated Light Switch 86″ src=”https://www.gooston.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/gold-2-gang-touch-light-switch-86.jpg” style=’clear:both; float:left; padding:10px 10px 10px 0px;border:0px; max-width: 325px;’>There are always small repairs to do around a house and occasionally they require a little effort. In case your ceiling fan light has gone out and you have determined it is not as simple as changing out the light bulb, chances are it’s the pull switch to the light. You’ll have been dreading getting out the ladder, but as outside temperatures change, you’ll be wanting your ceiling fan and light to be working properly.

Things You’ll Need
Screwdriver
Ladder
Pull-chain switch
Turn the electricity off to the light at the breaker box. Your breaker box is usually within the garage, but some houses have them in the kitchen or hallway.

Remove the screws that hold the bottom of the light fixture in place with a screwdriver. Typically, the fixture has three screws. This may expose the wiring.

Remove the light’s old pull-chain switch from the housing. Remove the two wire nuts attached to the old pull-chain switch and install the new switch, securing the sunshine back to the fan.
